The F-16 has been the mainstay 'jack-of-all trades' weapon of choice for over thirty years and stands testament to airforce technology. Increasingly sophistication of equipment aided pilots in adapting to violently turbulent situations. As early as the first world war air battles had captured the attention of all the armies from much needed ground support to the deadly dog fights which filled the skys. After the primitive bi-plane (four individual wings) of the first world war the american airforce began develoment of monoplane (two seperate wings) aircraft capable of traveling farther distances with greater fire power. The US Navy experimented with larger bomb loads in 1931 testing air dropped explosives up to 500 pounds***, thus making them more able for attacking enemy ships. The persistant goal of developping airborne technology is to foster scientific knowlege for the future betterment of all weaponry. this scientific knowlege can be seen as a creative push to a positive change in the technology*. One such push can be seen in tactical use. one such use was the formation of the bomber squadron durring raid opperations. The theory went that a tight grouping of aircraft moving at high speeds would have a high chance of accuracy on ground targets and have a better rate survivability***. On occasion tactics alone could fill the gap of technology and leave the battle victorious. Durring the first month of world war two an american "mercinary air force" were able to safe guard the 'Burma road' against Japanese attack. Although the road was eventualy taken the supplies that mannaged to pass the volitle war zone made tremendus contribution to the far east theater. The effect this aircraft had on world wide air power was global production of advanced multirole aircraft. The Japanese began development of the F-2 with a primary goal of sea lane protection yet capable of performing air to air combat as well**. Due to the similarities of the aircraft it can be assumed that the majority of the inspiration for design orriginated from the F-16 either from direct assistance or admiration for its abilities. The F-16 was as much a piece of innovation as it was a merger of existing technologies. The F-16 development hinged upon design schematics from the F-111 ardvark and the F-15**. The F-15 was designed to be the biggest compettetor in air combat. This was acheived superior weapons cargo and a low wing to weight ratio, giving it the ability to turn tightly without the loss of speed**. The F-15 also saw the dawning of the Heads Up Display (or the HUD) a technological marvel that gave the pilots the ability to seek out and annihilate enemy**. The HUD depended on wireless detection of targets and communication between pilots to form their battle strategy. "Such connectivity [has helped] joint forces gain greater awareness to attack the enemy,****" with this advantage our figters have proven themselves to be adversaries beyond compare. One article of orriginal innovation to the F-16 was its ability to withstand a hurtleing nine G's. This degree of durability to survive nine times the force of earths gravity has given the F-16 an incredible advantage on outmanuvering the enemy through extreeme agiity. American back enginering is evident from post luftwaffe similar aircraft such as the B-2 bomber in comparison to the nazi flying wing. Also the direct adoption of the v-2 rocket, the nazi "buzz bomb", in addition to project paperclip in which nazi scientists were cleared of all war crimes in exchange for intellectual gains. Such gains were injected into the budding United states space program. These gains came in leps and bounds which enabled the United States to stand head to head with the russian kosmonauts. Th F-16 was the first provebial swiss army knife of the skies. "All F-16's delivered since November 1981 have built-in structural and wiring provisions and systems architecture that permit expansion of the aircraft's multirole flexibility to perfom strike, night attack and beyond-visual-range interception missions,**" this piece of equipment truly had a tool for every occasion, and, on top of that, could leave combersome unnecessary tools behind. The evolution of military aircraft technology has been comparable to a game of chess. The aircrafts weapon possibilities are focused to have different angles of atack for engagement. Bullets can be seen as pawns easily suplied and containing minimal firepower these pieces advance in a linear pattern curving to attack its victim as affected by gravity. i had heavy problems programming PCBs because the PICKIT2 can not program them if they draw too much power.

now i can use a secondary supply via USB! it can be switched off as well, and i could use 3.3 volts if i wanted to.

i measured everything carefully since i do not want to ruin my equipment.
some solder scraps creeped on the PICKIT2 PCB!
the software did not recongnize it anymore.

on a transistor, on the crystal, and inside the USB socket.
removed and recognized again!

the red LEDs on the right PCB are for LCD debugging, especially when connecting LCD to traces that were intend for LED displays!
even looking up the schematic this can be difficult to debug.

so the best idea i think is to connect the wires, and test them out, then wire the LCD!

eventually i could install a panel-meter!
